Definición

Refers to the style of Goryeo-era celadon decorated with inlay produced by carving or impressing designs into the surface of leather-hard vessels and filling them with a contrasting white or black clay. After firing, the white and black decoration is enhanced by the transparency of Goryeo celadon glazes. Actively produced from the 12th century until the end of the dynasty, they were often high-quality wares made in the Gangjin and Buan regions. In addition to standardized patterns, decorative motifs included painterly lyrical scenes such as waterside landscapes.
