Refers to early Goryeo-era ceramic styles that developed in the central-western region of the Korean peninsula during the first half of the 10th century. Characterized by olive-green glazes and occasional whitewares, it includes wares with a broad, haemuri-gup (halo-shaped foot). The influence of Yue yao is evident in the kiln structures, firing tools, and vessel forms. Kilns were elongated and evolved from brick-built to mud-built structures.
