Definición

Refers to the early Goryeo celadon style produced around the 10th century in Bangsan-dong, Siheung, Gyeonggi-do (province). While small quantities of white porcelain were also made, celadon predominated there. Characterized by thin walls and olive-green glaze tones, these wares differ from the later jade-green celadons of the mid-Goryeo period. Vessel types such as bowls, dishes, and ewers show strong similarities to the Yue ware tradition of the Chinese Five Dynasties Period.
