Definición
Refers to a style that demonstrates many of the definitive characteristics of buncheong sagi (buncheong ware). It was popular between the late 15th and 16th centuries during the Joseon Dynasty. It is characterized by coating vessels with white slip applied using coarse brushes known as "guiyal," which were made with plant fibers or animal hair. It is distinguished by the rough, streaky marks left in the broad brushstrokes of white slip across the surface. By the late 15th century, some vessels combined stamped designs on one side with brush-applied slip on the other, but the style gradually developed toward brushing entire surfaces with slip alone.
