Definición

Refers to a tunnel-shaped kiln built on a slope, with a chimney positioned higher than the firebox based on the incline. Typically constructed with a gradient of about 10–12 degrees Celsius, it allowed efficient circulation of flame and heat. In Korea, most kilns producing ceramics during the Goryeo and Joseon periods were of this type.
