Definición

Refers to a small vessel used for holding condiments such as “ganjang” (soy sauce) or “gochujang” (red pepper paste). Its form is deeper than a dish but shallower than a bowl. It was referred to as “jongja” during the Joseon Dynasty, while today the term “jongji” is more common.
