In Korea, such stands were mainly produced in the Baekje, Silla, and Gaya Confederacy during the Three Kingdoms Period, usually from high-fired or low-fired earthenware. The legs were often decorated with openwork or incised designs. These stands were not intended for everyday use but were employed in ritual contexts as offering vessels.
